Red Wine

Dab with club soda, then cover with salt and let it sit overnight.

If you're out at a restaurant, put salt over the stain immediately and let it sit. This will quickly/immediately absorb the stain. Allow about 10 minutes to let the salt seat. I learned this on my engagement trip with my husband in Paris at Cafe de Flores. 


Soak in cold water; pre-treat with stain remover and wash.

Coffee and Tea

Dab with white vinegar, then, wash. 


Scrape off excess color, then pre-treat with stain remover and wash. 


Soak in cold salt water for two hours; dab with half-strength ammonia and water


Spot treat with dish soap then wash on hot


Mix equal parts lemon juice + water; add salt to create a scrub and wash


Spritz stain remover on to pre-treat, then wash

Soy Sauce

Rinse with cold water and dab with ammonia: pre-treat with stain remover and wash


Scrape off excess mustard and wash on hot.


Rinse with cold water from the back, then sponge with white vinegar and wash. 

Salad Dressing

Pretreat with stain remover: wash on hot
