How to Make a Vision Board
To start, as your self questions like, “What do I want this vision board to show?”, “What are my goals?”, or “How exactly do I want to feel?”
A vision board should be a reflection of where and who you want to be in the future. By starting with questions, you open up your mind to things you wouldn't consider off the top of your head. Once you give it some though, it becomes easier to attach visual representations to your career, home, and life goals.
Here are a few steps to guide you on the path to making a vision board:
- Buy a Few Magazines that Cover a Wide Variety of Topics
Some magazine options you could choose are topics on fashion, finance, health, etc. Flip through the magazines and cut out photos that speak to your dreams and goals. Arrange these photos in a way that means something to you!
- Make Sure It's Visible
Although you can carry your vision board anywhere, we advise that you find a spot to hang it in your home. It should be first thing you see when you wake up and before you go to bed. Keep it somewhere private; you don’t want every visitor in your home commenting on it! It’s personal and should hang somewhere only you can see!
- Believe in Your Vision Board
Vision boards won’t change much in your life, if you are unwilling to believe in its manifestation powers. Allow yourself some time daily to gaze at your board. Let the images seep deep into your subconscious and think positively for best results!
